It's a sad day for english football and all you rival fans should think about the implications before laughing at them.


Glazer has purchased 28% off paddy and murphy and launched a 780 million bid which will have to be accpeted as he now owns more than half of the club.

If he gains controll of75% of the club plus one shaire then he will be able to pass on his personal debt to the club,so no matter how much he borrows it's all on the clubs heas,so in other words if they don't gain succsess they will go bust,imagine that man utd going bust.


Now not only will this bring over other money making yanks,it will also bring over Video evidence and cheer leaders and it will become just like the dirty commercialised hell hole that is the NFL,which will be truely a sad day and take away what is so good about english football in the first place.


If this happens im going to support one of the local northern league teams,i cant decide between whitby town,gusiborough town or marske united.

That's not true, when Leeds were going through their s**t i felt kinda gutted for them, despite the rivalry. I'd probably feel the same way if something similar happened to your s**te. At the end of the day we're all football fans and we all feel the same way about our club whichever it may be...

In any case, Utd fans need to simply accept what has happened and stick by the club. I'm not sure i'll be buying any merchandise soon but when you choose a football team to support it is for life and nothing should change that...
