I'm tryin to get things organized when i start new tracks.
How do yous organize, setup when you make a new track?
What are the basic vsti's and tools you have handy?
What vstis do you use for your synths, Basslines, sampling, wave editing, FX, Mastering, etc?

Right now i start out with opening Hydra and/or Audiorealism for my Basslines, Z3TA+ and/or Audiorealism for my synths ( as i explore Z3TA+ more, possibly will use it for much much more ) , Waves Diamond Bundle for compression, limiting ( Rcomp, RBass, L2 Ultramaximer ), and I just got PSP Vintage Warmer ima check out.
I'm still a baby with all this though.
Is it good to keep more than one of each VSTI open? or does that depend on how much CPU/Ram power you have?

There are no rules....

Do whatever sounds right.

Well for me since I work in FLSTUDIO, I just make each sound an individual track running it thru it's own channel on the FX bus.

generally the kick and bass are tracks 1 and 2. Then add your layers from there to build the track.

Generally it is best to group the patterns into sections. Maybe have perc all next to one another, kick drum changes, synths and edits and so on....

Seems to keep the projects well organized while you're working on them.
