Once again, DJ Becka and techno label Gotham Grooves of NYC are back to bring you ‘Gotham City Radio’ on Livesets.com.
Airing every Saturday, from 12:00pm – 3:00pm EST(eastern standard time) 18:00 – 21:00 CET(central europan time). Alongside Becka's weekly tune selections, we will be featuring international and local guest dj's and performances for your enjoyment. Join us this week as we gear up for the Fuse-In Festival, happening next weekend in the place where it all started – Detroit. Manning the decks with Becka in our studio will be Neil V....
Tight mixing with quick technical skills has given Neil V the opportunity to play from the East coast to the West. After 5 years of running the label Techno City Records with his close friend Jimmy Hunt… they recently moved on to a new project called Concealed Recordings. Coming all the way from Detroit to his new home in New York City, Neil plans to lay down some proper techno on the world wide web airwaves."
For the past 12 years Becka has been exposing her hard hitting techno style to the masses, playing at events across the US and Europe, alongside artists like Electric Indigo, Adam X, Agent Orange and Steve Stoll, just to name a few. Her unique blend of Electro, Minimal and Hard Techno have left those witnessing her sets, comparing her sound to the likes of German techno dj/producer Chris Liebing.
Some of the places where Becka has played are: Fuse (Brussels, Belgium), Metropolis (Paris, France), Montuno Vibes (Ghent, Belgium), DEMF (Gotham Grooves, ISOS, Nefarious) (Detroit), Female Pressure (Memphis, Tennassee), Tronic Treatment (NYC), Limelight (NYC), along with many others.
Along with her radio show on livesets, she has also begun working in the studio, co-producing tracks with Satronica and Agent Orange, as well as working on solo projects.
In addition to being an outright vinyl junkie, Becka can play a range of styles letting loose a turbulent assault on the senses. This lady DJ has been gaining loads of respect & notoriety in the US as well as internationally. Keep an eye on her and be a witness to this rising talent, traveling at the speed of light!
