hmmmm yet again tidy trax jump on the bandwagon and book a hardstyle dj as like 2 years ago with hardtrance legend scot project now look what's happend to scot project and the overdose label.
The thing thats worrying me is its happend so quick before hardtrance
was on the underground scene for years,
Hardstyle has not been around all that long and they have got there hands on it allready im not that worried cause they will never play what i like but the take over has started

Hmmm... I think it's nothing to worry about. The way I see it it's a good move if they want to provide some of the cuttin edge music at there events although I appreciate people are worried that the balance of money over the music could be the real motives of Tidy.

It was only a matter of time before it happened, I did suspect this happening. She's been absolutely huge with the dutch for ages now, somebody should have brought her over before Tidy got their chance.

Technoboy will follow very soon. I guarantee.

Yeah I've spoke to Technoboy he really wants to play over here. He's friendly chap and I've found it hard to believe he's not been snapped up already. He's not bad mixer too from listening to his sets.

I think Jay-M maybe helping him out... can't remember where I read that though.

Would of done it sooner but they cost far too much. They need to reassess there pulling power and price then maybe smaller promoters would book them.

Thre could be something positive in this Dana thing.

Their pulling power in their usual countries is huge though, and surely it would mean something to break someone into a country - no matter what it costs? With all the downloading that goes on nowadays, I suspect these two have a massive underground UK following.

Tidy now will abduct them, and try to cheese them up a bit.

hmmm...
have to wait n see really.
i've never been involed in the commercial side of things, i shall play what i wanna play, even if it is being played by Dana @ Tidy, so the feck what, if it's a good tune, it's a good tune....
just dont go and follow 'em if they go on a cheese fest run... we all know what music we like and if u dont like they way they go, dont be a sheep.
we have all moved away from Scott as he found a new direction, ppl didnt like the way Umek went, that's what it's all about - moving on, finding new styles, experimenting...

chazbloke I agree with what your saying as what I listen too will never be commercial it's just they have latched on hardstyle alot earlier than exspected I mean u can say find another style experiment but realy anythin more undergorund than hardstyle is darkcore/hardcore.

I mean you can tell hardtsyle is already branching off into new styles like labels like "59" "masters of hardstyle" "seismic" producing darkstyle/industrial tracks, and lorenzo producing amasing techno influenced hardstyle but dana plays these kinda styles in her sets
and by tidy weekender every bandwagon jumpin tidy traxx wannabe will
wanna no what tunes she played and will play them with there crappy
tired old hard house.

I might be just paranoid but it pisses me off that one of the most respected hardstyle dj's is playing at tidy first than any other hardstyle event in the uk

Some of the dutch stuff is light, fun and would appeal to the Tidy crowd. This is probably what she'll play.

Once I went on Tidy.com and read their reviews - it had a review of Hatshepshut - Far Away From Giza, and the reviewer said it was 'awful noise'!

i think tidy are trying to be more like nukleuz in bringing the complete spectrum of hard dance to the masses, the tidy weekender includes a fair few respected djs from the underground both scott brown and sharkey are there, along with scott project and lab4 even k90.
i am sure it aint gonna effect the underground scene in anyway, by them including lady dana, they get 3,000 odd people at these things can you blame lady d for wanting to play there, as much as i hate the thought
tunes like that released by 59 records are hardly gonna apeal to the kind of people that are gonna be there thank god

For sure Pal the next one over will be zenith to play at tidy or some other zoo i know Zenith quite well but his price is far too high for me to book him for religion i am going to bring Andrea Montorsi and Ado the Dream from Sound Barrier ( Gas Italy)
As Ado and Andrea are getting bookings at Q-Dance but there fees are lower ( Pure Hardstyle) Italian Style

Bring it on

Gonna step in here and say....'at least they feckin did some-thing about the hardstyle hype and got Dana over here'

ok I realise smaller financed nights some of u guys run don't have the funds for high prices they charge....but even bigger club nights have bottled out of gettin these hardstyle djs over as

'they're notoriety wouldn't be enuff to get the door no's to pay their fee's'

seems every-one's been mad for hardstyle now-a-days without gettin the major playors over here...........shame it took a big corp to do it......but at least they did!!!

hey Chazbloke..

'we have all moved away from Scott as he found a new direction, ppl didnt like the way Umek went, that's what it's all about - moving on, finding new styles, experimenting...'

... loving your work m8 :)

I say... STOP moaning. Deal with it. Move on.

If a certain type of hardstyle becomes accepted in circles you don't agree with - MOVE ON!

That's how you keep a step ahead. And that's why I set up this forum - not to moan. To deal with it and find the future. Let's accept that music these days is soooooo accessible and WILL get exploited quicker than ever.

Can someone post a mix from DANA?? I'd love to hear something from her. Then we all know what we have to deal with.

Dana plays filth, I have a few sets @ home half of it was ur proper wommp wommp hardstyle basslines, the last half was amped gabber kicks! --- No wommp?? No ta!! :D

Out of all the Screamer Dj's, Pavo & Dana don't really tickle my pickle!

Prefer Zenith, Technoboy & of course Isaac :D
