Milanese:
A key part of the next wave of Warp artists spearheading the labels electronic dancefloor renaissance, with the recently released LP ‘1 Up’ on receiving a slavering reaction from kids and critics alike. Since when Milanese has been blasting out his trademark ragga / jungle / dancehall next-step bass heavy bizniz across the globe, honing his live set for maximum impact. A trained pianist no less, lets hope he keeps it in his trousers and concentrates on sending out sonic sub bass shockwaves!
Erase:
Swedish native Erase is one of the foremost exponents of the worlds greatest drum machine, the Elektron SPS 1, beloved beat box behind thousands of artists, most notably you’ll see Autechre using them heavily on their latest live tour. Mr Erase works at the factory testing them before they are shipped out, and can mangle sounds from them like no one on the planet! Aside from this he runs the Electromechanix label and regularly performs live, improvisational, sets at festivals, galleries and parties across the continent.

Exile:
No stranger to the ALT*CTRL stage, Tim Exile returns with NEW IMPROVED TOYS to entertain and baffle you with. Where Erase is a master of the hardware synthesis, Tim is king of the new wave of software sound manipulation tools, and spends many a lonely cold night at home devising ever more ingenious ways to back sounds into a corner and make them do his evil bidding. With his album finally approved for release on Planet Mu scheduled for the end of Summer, this will be his first fully improvised live set! Expect total mayhem.

Cursor Miner:
Another firm favourite of ours, Cursor Miner is back once again to wreak havoc on the floor. Hard nosed stomping techno with a skirt on, this is what Nirvana might have sounded like if they listened to Aphex instead of Iggy Pop. Brilliant and entirely loveable, while simultaneously menacing and exhilarating. Currently designing sounds for Radio One and with a whole barrow load of new tracks due for release, Cursor rocks my world your world, and worlds in other dimensions where cheese is used as currency.

Psi Spy & Diagoro:
Psi Spy is one of many monikers for the obscenely talented and ridiculously energetic Mike Wallis. One half of Crunch with Tipper, and another half of the Abstract Knight with the mighty Sam Ashwell, the two halves combine to form a floor humping whole in Psi Spy, with a number of releases under this alias on Pyramid Transmissions. Sam’s solo project is Diagoro, with releases on Touchin Bass recently tickling our lobes. Also running the Colony Imprint, regularly releasing albums, recording and mixing live acts in the studio, we strongly suspect that these boys pass up on sleep in order to keep the music industry running. Rest assured you will be in safe hands when these two step up to tweak their knobs – satisfaction guaranteed!
