What do you guys think.
I would ask for tech advice but honestly my comp is gettin reimaged
so the sketch for this is most likely shot.
So I guess the question is where I should send?

didnt u back up before ur computer got looked at? essential mate, saves losing tracks for sure...

this is ok i thought but wasnt keen on the main kick drums or the synth, but i think you've sent me this before because i recognised the strings in there... would suit a different bassline in there too i think as there is enough space to fit one in for sure

not bad dude

in 1:27 i heard that it is a bit distorted, too distorted, very loud. this track should be more cleaned i think.

but i like that loop, it is a very catchy :) congas are great and nice vocals.

I love it.
But honestly, the mix isn`t ready for vinyl.
Overall mix lacks definition and brightness, as well as depth and warmth in the bottom end.
Overall the sounds have a very flat feel, and lack subtle movement and again, warmth.

How to remedy this without the intial sketch itself?

i like this one... even i have to say after these Bells like stabs came in,,,i was not too much into it,..,but it fit there quite well,,so ok,., i like some of the weird sounds around,,it's cool,. the kick sounds too loud to me,.and play too mid,,i'd also say the hi hats could sound more crispy..
cheers...

Erm, not really possible.
A good exciter may help, but essentially, you can`t fix things at this stage unless you go back and re-mix.

Well hopefully we can get the data recovered from Tonys hard drive so that becomes possible. Although I do not posses this drive at the moment so it's not in my hands. Even though I offered when his machine went down :eh:

Well I figure that right now you have no data, if I can recover your tracks, then atleast then you'll be able to work again. As for Kain and Able, just Kain. Able is just for target practice.

No worries homie, get me the HD so I can try and ghost the image to a new one.

If your HD is damaged I doubt I will be able to fix it's problem, but I should be able to recover the data and put it on another drive.

yea man this is cool! love that little whipppet at the start... i keep on playing it over!!

menacingly tribal, which i love!!! strings workin nice, although a break from them somewhere would be a breather!!

as dirty said the mix could be brighter, but then again, i cant do even close to that

great work

this is great, as the other posts said, it needs work in the eq department, but apart from that, this is top notch, your tracks really have stepped up to the plate now

glad you got your files back too
