me to was looking at a waldorf microwave xt on ebay. im just gonna get the korg legacy with controler. exclude the probs ive been having with midi then. still want a waldorf badly tho. had a micro q wile back but a m8 had it of me when i was skint fecking regret that :cry:

yeah, i try not thinking about all that stuff... it's just better to focus on writing music rather than collecting gear. otherwise you'll never get anything done.

Stay software but it's always useful and enjoyable to own one or two GOOD hardware synths. Just don't start buying every new bit of gear that comes out. Thats when you turn from a muso into a gear collector.

i think that microwave was my mates...
Try a few synths out and settle on the one that you like the best. This gives you time to settle in and learn the functions of your synth - flying about it means you become creative and unfettered by the constraints of going "Now where is that button" or "How do i do this simple task?"
As for gear lust - dont get me started, its a sad sad thing and im an addoct

gotta say tho ive been checking out that legacy. that thing does some wicked sounds. that ms20 :cool: . a m8 said the realy thing takes about 10mins ta warm up before ya can get any sound out. FAt as fuk. & maks a dirty nrg sound. like karim&tinrid. & that combo thing ya can do using the different synths layering. i cant wait ta get it

a dodgy if that waldorf rack attack software & the waldorf software filter is ya m8s pm me man. just couldnt be fukt with the haggling on ebay. bit of a long shot ha ha! ya never know ;)
