Anyone know anything about cubase vst

Hi, finally got a question I cant find the answer to,
Just got my system up and running using cubase vst 5.1 (I know it’s old but I like the interface)& delta66. but I’m having a problem with playing back audio files in the arrange window when I play back a loop, say a 16 beat drum loop the last kick in the loop will drop out . I think the problem has got something to do with my graphics card (ati rad.. 9250) but for the life of me I cant fix the problem. I know its not the ram or the drives as ive spent a fortune on both . any ideas or solutions would be a appreciated

have you tried changing the buffer size in the audio setup window and do you have the most up to date drivers?
