hmm....
have read about Samson S-170 ( £148.75 incl. UK Delivery) & Alesis RA 150 ( £158.75 incl. UK Delivery)...
both look good and could do the job, so which one do you think?

yeah, i love my S-260 too, really solid amp, as soon as i started using it my tracks were sounding better

the reason I go 4 the Alesis is mainly down to the fact that it's build especifically 2 b a linear amp with extra low noise cooling fan...
But there is so many things that can influence yer sound, like speaker placement, distance from monitors, bla bla bla... then there is so many diferent views about monitoring that it's kinda hard 2 decide.. some people even use hi-fi amp and speakers and get a great sound...

2 me I go with what's technically (suposably) better... that would b Mackie Hr824.. the have biamps which is far better than only 1 amp full range.. the amps r especific 4 the speakers...

So if I already had the monitors I would go 4 the Alesis... but I guess the sampson is equally good .... or even Jim's advice...
Now this was preatty helpless post !?!?! :?
