A new weekly radio show has seen the daylight on the technofor.us vs. poundingtechno.com radiostation.
This weekly broadcast brings you high energy dancefloor oriented grooves in a variety of styles. As a special
surprise the host of the show, DJ Onhcet invites a weekly special guest from the dancescene who will doing
a live broadcast from the studio. So be sure to tuned in!
.:: THE HOST ::.
As said the show is hosted by DJ Onhcet, who has quite an impressive history himself under his previous
DJ name DJ Giovanni. He has spinned at a lot of big venue's in Holland like: Tivoli, Vrije Vloer,
Vechtse Banen, Jaarbeurs, Veemarkt (Utrecht), Thialf (Heerenveen), Sleep-in and It (Amsterdam). During his
first years of producing his style changed from club-house to psy-trance to tribal to progressive influences.
Finding the right kind of music was quite a journey. At the end of this journey he found his real passion
in TECHNO. The diversity in this music style is what appealed to him. So he decided to change his DJ name
from DJ Giovanni to DJ Onhcet and changed his focus to techno.

Biography Phonopunk:
Gideon Bouwens a.k.a. Phonopunk grew up in a small town called Baambrugge after being born in one
of the most liberal cities in the world just 10 miles up north, Amsterdam. Just 16 years of age,
he started working in a local club/bar, one of Hollands leading underground locations, The Tumult.
It was there that he learned about the existence of a differnt kind of sound. Now we call it dance,
then it was simply called house-music. Soon Gideon realised that this was the music he loved and
wanted to play himself. He bought his decks, started buying records and within no time discovered
that techno was the thing for him. In Phonopunks view a good techno-set should be about: rythym, funk,
tribals, skillz and not making any compromises in the mixing. Still, just pounding and beating the
crowd is not his style. As he said himself: "I'm taking the punk to the phono!". Having done several
succesful performances at The Tumult Phonopunk made the jump for the big city. After winning the
diesel-u-music award he is now occupying a residency at the monthly techno-night "Mainstage" where
he's playing a packed Escape Venue side to side with big names of the industry such as Umek, Ben Sims
and Cristian Varela. Holland and Europe are about to meet a new generation of DJ's and Phonopunk
will do everything he can to be one of them.

Biography Nuno dos Santos
Dutch DJ and graphic designer Nuno Dos Santos was born in 1976 in Lissabon, Portugal, but grew up in
The Netherlands. He connected to electronic music already at an early age. Together with friends, he
organised in the summer of 1993 some underground house parties in his home town of Utrecht, better known
as “Gekkenhuis” It was at these parties that Dos Santos got his his first serious experience in dj-ing.
In the year 2000, Nuno Dos Santo won the RedBull DJ contest in Dublin. Since then his popularity has only
increased and things started rollin’. Nowadays he appears at places around Holland and places such as
Tel Aviv, Warsaw, Cannes & Rome not forgetting his beloved home town Utrecht, where he is regular at
The Winkel van Sinkel and many other places. Thanks to a demo sent to Electronation, Dos Santos landed with
an invitation to spin at Electronation nights at Tivoli de Helling, Melkweg and other related parties. On top
of that, the organisers of the techno night Mainstage at Escape (Amsterdam) have not been able to resist his
sound, giving him the opportunity to dj with Bens Sims and John Aquaviva.
Furthermore he is a resident at the FullSpectrum techno parties in the Ekko Utrecht. And he is starting his own
night in the new club Poema in Utrecht starting from February.
Apart from his DJing and producing activities, Nuno Dos Santos is also active organising the up and coming
klik-house parties in Tivoli de Helling together with Mojo and 't Hoogt Movietheatre. Additionally, as if this
wasn't enough, Dos Santos is the heart of KOLLEKTIV, a concept and design agency.
Dos Santos' passion for music and different styles keeps him far from being a constrainted DJ. His sets vary from
deephouse, tech-house, electro and breakbeats to acid, minimal & techno.
