hi all
i have a roland tb303 and when its goin through my analog mixer it sound nice and warm but when i record it into my pc using an emu 1820m it just sounds really thin and digital are there any tecniques that help retain that analog warmth or any plugins

why not try going directly in? see if that makes a difference.

there's millions of plugins to re-gain some or loads of the anologue feel:

- bbe vintage warmer

- loads of tube fx that can warm the sound

- voxengo's analogoue flux suite

yeh.. in general there's something really wrong with your signal path if you think you ought to look for software to make your hardware sound better.. or more like the hardware, anyway

thanks guys i went straight into the card
the effects unit im using (boss se70) is causing the problem
303 straight to the computer sound great

Run it through your desk and then into your PC?
