i think guyver's got a really fresh sound. i thought serious sound and esp. you'll know it are wicked tracks, german influenced but with that uk edge. he's only a youngster too, 18 i think, so hopefully more good stuff still to come.
its a shame tidy poached him, he may go the way of the cheese very soon.

To be honest they had too much of that UK influence, The reason I liked "you'll know it" was coz it had germany written all over it. The melody was not of this country. 8)

not of this country?
so whats jay walker? jon the baptist? mtw?.....import melody? :?
If theyre a UK producer and it's a UK label, Can't be any more UK!! :!:
yea youll know it is a good tune but the other side serious sounds was to much like hard house i thought

And too be fair corbzy.... i think all the producers u ave metioned there have a very large european influence. And i think maybe the melody they are usin is just a not a cheesy brother of the germans and dutch.

Ah think too tag something with a tag like Uk hard trance you have too be doin summit totally unique, which i dont think jay walker and that are doin, they havent made the sound there own have they, and thats not a dig at any of the uk boys, as im more than into fastfloor and jay walker stuff.
But there tunes are european influenced and european sounding?

i like serious sound. i know what you mean though, its that bassline that gives it more of a hard house feel. love the melody, thats what does it for me.

I would agree that the current good UK Hard Trance producers of today are producing a sound which is influenced and guided by the sucess and appeal of what the German & Swiss have been doing for a while. It's fresh stuff which is good and I sincerely hope that a more established sound develops over 2004 for UK Trance so it is more unique in comparison to German/Swiss sound.

I think that UK stuff has established itself loads recently....
If you ask me, I reckon the Germans/Swiss/Dutch are picking up Jay Walker/Marcos/MTW/Digital Pressure/Fast Floor/Jon the Baptist/The Elite stuff and thinking....."****ing Hell this is good" agree or disagree?
Go on the boys, lets have some patriotism going here :D

Oh no I agree and give loads of respect to people like Jon the Baptist, Elite and Jay Walker as they really have done some original work which is great. I don't want the German/Swiss influences comments to take anything away from them as I think they are really doing some good things for the UK Trance scene...
I just think they its a shame they releases didn't come out a year or two a go as they would of got more credit and appreciation then as there is a lot of hard trance about to stand out in now a days... that's just life and fate though...
The future is what I look to... I'm just fascinated by new ways of thinking or new ways of listening to something... as well as admiring the past and how we have got to where we are.

Yeah good points there Mark....agreed. :D
DISCLAIMER: Everything stated below is purely my opinion and although I believe factual you may not agree so dont take it to heart laek.......
IN MY OPINION Dont book guyver for a dj set...he bored the shit out of LOADS of us at Dance Academy last week playing a set with most of his tunes played sounding the same. His productions are also not something i'm into nor a fan of.
The above is my opinion.
Though I know a few who agree.. :)

I do agree with Louk about Guyver's djing last week. His mixing was ok, but set was very boring and didn't do anything for me.
I really like his Pysclone - Good Side mix... why can't he produce more like that!
mr hakka i could have good news for us both... get in touch/go on msn and ill divulge.
