We hope to help kick start your day or evening, depending on where you’re tuning in from. Just go to www.livesets.com and follow the links at the top right.

This week’s show Becka will be playing, and Lasix will be dropping by the studio to lay down some beats for a bit before he moves to his new home in Philadelphia.

Driven by a deep passion for music, Lasix played his first gig in Long
Island, NY to 600 people only 4 months after jumping on the decks. Since
then, he has gone on to play in many New York City clubs and lounges
including Sullivan Room, Lunatarium, Groovejet, Filter 14, Rare, the
Brooklyn Loft, Halcyon, Knitting Factory, and plenty more. He is quickly
gaining a reputation for high-quality, no-nonsense track selection and
the ability to play to any size venue, adjusting his sets anywhere from
ethereal tech-house to funky, tribal techno, and all the way up the
scale to hard, banging techno.

Stepping out from behind the decks, he's also been responsible for
organizing events with many well-respected dj's from inside and outside
NYC with his partners at HomegrownNYC since 2002 (boasting a roster of
300 djs), and currently hosting a monthly techno event at one of the
country's most respected underground venues, NYC's Sullivan Room, with
fellow techno fiends, Gotham Grooves.

Some of the artists Lasix has played with include: The Advent, Misstress
Barbara, Lenny Dee, Adam X, Frankie Bones, Marco Bailey, Bryan Zentz,
W.J. Henze, Space DJz, Tim Xavier, Danilo Vigorito, Function, Preach,
and many more. In addition to his current residency with Tech-Support,
he also held down three residencies on Long Island between 2000 and 2002
before joining up with Homegrown. Regular appearances with New York's
most respected techno troupe, Tronic Treatment, have proven he's not
afraid to step up in prime time.

Tune in, sit back, relax, and enjoy the sounds from Gotham City…….
