I'm looking for some hypnotic techno tunes (year of release doesn't matter)
To be more specified I'm looking for songs like:

Terence Fixmer - Armee des tenebres
Jeff Mills - The Extremist, The Hypnotist...

Thanks in advance!

no seriously...

Im not sure what you mean by hypnotic. But I would always find most of Heils stuff hypnotising.

resident funny man!!!!!

ive always thought of the tunes i buy as hypnotic....they tend to be fairly loopy, with minimalistic atmospheric stuff going on in the backgroud.

I'm a huge fan of the "hypnotic" techno. I guess what one considers hypnotic though is all up for opinion. I prefer deeper driving tracks, many times coming from the same stable of artists. Some of my faves:

Heiko Laux - Re-televised - Missile
Heiko Laux - Somatic - Synewave
Ignacio - Chios - Music Man
Joel Mull - The Mole (Original) - Primevil
Female/Vandross - Hurt me, I'm Waiting - Sandwell District
Sleeparchive 1-3
Percy X - Worklike - Soma
Quartz - Ascend to PG B-Sides - Ascend
Damon Wild - Warchild (Adam Beyer remixes) - Synewave
Patrik Skoog - 16 - Mankind

As for various labels and producers, always check out for anything on or by Synwave, DJ Slip, Kanzleramt, old Inside records, Mankind, Dynamic Tension, Heiko Laux, Steve Rachmad, old Skunkworks, Music Man, Soleil, U-Turn, Inceptive, Anders Ilar, Dan Bell, Plus 8, M_Nus, stuff from me/Abiotic (cheap plug), Damon Wild, Jeff Mills, Mark Broom, and many more, the list goes on and on. Some of that techno isn't balls out compressed hard, but you better believe it sounds hard and hypnotic as **** at 4 in the morning when everyone is completely wasted.

always check out for anything on or Steve Rachmad, Music Man

One of my favourite producers/djs (aka Ignacio) , and a very good label. Thx for suggestions. I would also recommend releases from Petar Dundov, who also produces for this label.

yeah, how could I forget Ho, Duley, Basic Channel and Dundov! I was pressed for time on my list. Those guys were a huge influence as well. Nearly every Dundov record on Music Man is worth picking up. And, some Basic Channel tracks definitely push upwards of 140!
