Our first guest is no stranger to this show…..front man of Gotham Grooves and Terminal M artist-Agent Orange.

Agent Orange has performed across the globe in places such as Greece, Holland, France, Belgium, Colombia, and Venezuela, side by side with some of the best international artists including, Christian Smith, Adam Beyer, Misstress Barbara, Cristian Varela, and Ben Sims, just to name a few. Currently touring across the US and Canada, he has held numerous residencies, and is a regular @ Christian Smith’s Tronic Treatment weekly party, in his hometown of New York City. Spinning since the age of 12 in 1988, Ara has developed a remarkable ear as a DJ and now boasts over 35 crates of vinyl to prove it!

A serious producer since 1997, he is also co-founder, A&R, and one of the main artists on his own label Gotham Grooves and has recently been signed to Monika Kruse’s prestigious Terminal M label from Berlin, Germany.

Agent Orange strives hard to add creativity, originality, and a new sound to his musical productions and his DJ sets. Simply put, groovy beats that make you shake it on the floor! His foundation is Funky-Techno and some Hard-Techno as well, but by using his refined DJ skills, he takes his dance floors to the next level by presenting many different, such as Latin & Jazz, and always represents with classic Techno and House tunes.

Imagine if you were to take the energy and purity of Techno, and infuse it with the groove and funky beats of House…now you’re getting the Agent Orange experience.

Our next guest makes his long awaited debut on Gotham City Radio – Anthony Velarde.

Exposed to the New York Club scene since 1986, during the early days of freestyle with DJ Little Louie Vega at club “HeartThrobs” formerly known as "The Funhouse" opened Anthony Velarde’s eyes to how a dj can move a crowd. Velarde took his passion to a new level by teaming up with Iman Rizky to form WickedLiquid. They Headlined within their first year together at seminal New York City venues such as Centro-fly, EXIT, Limelight, Tunnel, Sound Factory, Webster Hall, Chaos, and China Club. He was known as the wicked half of the production due to his hard hitting style and driving big room sounds. He proved himself during the monumental sets at WickedLiquid’s Southeast Asia tour December of 2001 and Planet Hollywood’s private poolside party at Miami’s Winter Music Conference 2002.

Velarde’s solo debut at NY hot spot, Discotheque, playing alongside with respected artist and producer Max Graham, again proved that he could turn out a crowd. He is also influenced by legends such as Marco Bailey, Sasha, Ben Sims, and Carl Cox, He is currently in his sixth year playing out as a DJ but he is by no means a stranger to the elements of making people dance and scream for more. Anthony's sound and style are constantly evolving to reveal his meticulous sense of otherworldly sound and perfect balance. Velarde has also spun alongside Charles Feelgood, George Acosta, John Selway, Angel Alanis and Brian Zentz, proving that he can easily transition from House to Trance to Techno with ease and grace. His sets vary wildly from night to night, but the one constant is his unfettered ability to take his listeners on a spontaneous musical journey. Tribal House melts into Trance, Trance fades into Techno, and the blends continue, eventually merging to form a complete musical circle that both mesmerizes and energizes. Variations in intensity create crackling movement within his sets. And that movement translates into dance floor ululations of the most primal sort.

In 2004 he spread his name wide. He was booked in Oahu, Hawaii at 6 different venues then took up a double header gig in San Francisco's Saki Lab and 1015 Folsom playing along side Armin Van Buuren. The Christmas to New Years Eve Motherland tour to Manila, Philippines gained him the publicity and recognition to be invited back again this year. Apparently, the city didn’t know what it was missing! He also spun multiple gigs at the island of Boracay, aka known as the resort place to visit in the South Pacific. Back in the States, he headlined a rave at the State Palace Theatre in New Orleans where he now maintains a monthly dj residency with DreamFactory Productions. He built a dj collective called Subdivision with two other dj’s which spawned the Event Production Bump. Bump Productions is now a monthly party in NYC and in New Orleans developed from the relationship between his Louisiana promotions that concentrates on spreading Anthony’s music from the East to the South. With the support of his Production team, he is taking his music into the future by focusing a few months to produce. Expect great things to come!

Velarde’s timeless aggressive style and seamless mixing landed him more bookings across the continent and earned him the respect and reputation as one of New York’s hard hitting Techno/Progressive House DJ’s.

Tune in, sit back, relax, and enjoy the sounds from Gotham City…….
