yes, but concordes are no good unless your turntables have straight tonearms! i would go with stanton 505's. :)

Deppends what your wanting to do. If you scratch a lot then the Shure M447 are the best you can get (and they're only £40 each :D )

hmmm not sure about this, i been using concordes on 1210's for many, many years and never had any problems.
this is the 1st time i have heard this, and dont understand what this way of thinkin is about? please explain..

IMO ... blue concords are the ones ya want ... good workhorses and not that expensive ... £100 for the pair.

but as said before it depends on what ya doing with them.

Cheers guys. Very helpful indeed. Probably gonna sctatch quite a bit as have just started playing breakbeat as an afterparty sorta music. So are concordes not great if I'm wanting tio scratch?

basically when you are cueing-up a record with concordes on straight tonearms the needle can jump, making harder work of mixing and damaging your vinyl. don't get me wrong concordes are good, but so are stanton 505's. and cheaper aswell.

Aye, if your just after a decent cart for ya bedroom then the stanton 505's are a briliant compromise.
