absolutely love reaktor 5. Proberly best vst out there. As for sequencer, I'm using cubase. Had a go with logic but prefer the sound i get from cubase.

absolutly love Reaktor 5. best Vsti for me, at the moment. synths are great + there is bunch of other very good tools. it's ACE!

and whats best, u can download a lot of new ensembles programmed by users.. all on NI web site. i checked that, and i think some of the synths are much better than in original version...

Best Plugins and app in world .... only proplem I have with Reaktor is being able to load them in Cubase SX3 , for some reason they crash it everytime.

for some reason, Reaktor uses 24-59% of my CPU at any given time. My poor 1.33ghz iBook G4 just cant handle it!

Are you using Reaktor 5 ? If not I recommend you upgrade to 5 cause the performace is much better , I use a PB 1.5GHZ with 1.5 gigs of ram though :)

well i'm just running the demo because my pockets are usually pretty empty these days. hehe. maybe a ram upgrade would do the trick.

Reaktor scares me.

I think if I buy Reaktor and a laptop then no-one will ever see me again.

... or perhaps I might emerge 30 years later, with an array of rather nasty and interesting noises, but no real results.

Reaktor is a revolutionary piece of software, especially once you get into dissecting it

Actually I really feel I ought to get down and dirty with either Reaktor, or Max / MSP, and at the moment I can't quite decide which.

Is anyone in a position to explain the difference between the two?

type in native instruments forum in google. Theres are users comparing it to max and saying what the advantages are of each program on there

I got hold of reaktor 5, and it's scary how good a sound you can get from the ensembles. And that was me just working my way through the presets. I'd love to have the time to sit and build my own synth from scratch and use it in a tune, but I think the real value for most people is using it as a source of sound from other peoples ensembles.

Somebody get a hold of Tim Exile and get him on here, he can give us all a masterclass with Reaktor....

was watching a promo/demo with him on the native instruments website -

That man knows how to work that s hit!!!

He had made an ensemble that looked like the fecking bizness!!

I think it might be available to registered users for download but, ehh, I lost my registration number or something...

So I'm just going to have to figure it out myself. After my brain implant and mental upgrade it should be no bother...

Check this s hit ou tho>.... http://www.nativeinstruments.de/index.php?id=exilemovie_de&ftu=91e912c4be

the best stuff i haver seen

i use reaktor sinze he called generator (4 or 5 years ago)and i start creating techno totally in generator 1.5 with some machines i create.

now i use hem only to make samples to put in reason, the new sample recording in reaktor 5 is exelente, you can cut only the steps you want of the sounds you create, just edit de structure of the machine you want and plug a sample rec.
