much thanks to db for telling me excactly where i needed work as producer, i think it helped.

this track, Fission, was heavily inspired by the purpose maker label, feedback would be appreciated.

you can definitely hear the detroit influence in this (with a bit of chi town flava too) but i think it needs to be more pumpin, it kinda gets boring after a while, i think this can definitely be made into something more interesting (JUST MY OPINION!!)

Sounds neat, would a very nice piece to mix with.
I like the progression as the synth moves from the
background to the foreground and into the main spot.
I also like the gated bit in at 2:25. Lotta excellent
work in here. A bit sparse-r than I usually work with,
but nonetheless a definite attention to detail.

This is simply brilliant, I love it!

I suspect you were goin for a delicate approach to the mix, so maybe you didn't want it to be too pumpin, that seems to me to be what the purpose maker stuff is about.

Love the synth work, really sits well and all gels together nicely.

Can't really fault it. :rambo:

had a listen and its a pretty cool track. i like the changeover half way through, very energetic.

i think when that original synth comes back, adding another funky perc loop, or something of that nature, would fill the track, to keep that energy there. although there is alot of latent energy as is!!!

thanks for the comments!

i've noticed some gloomy restraint in a lot of the purpose maker records, so i tried to inject some here/ ;)
