How does this work? Do they have to be unique?

Just wondering because I just saw a thread called "[FTR003] THEO SCHWARZ - "get up EP" and that's the same as the numbers that my friend Johnny used for his record label (FTR001, FTR002 etc)

How does it all work then?

the proper codes that you use are ISRC does, but then within that you have your in house codes


for example

MPTF 3

the code is

GB - KWE - 05 - 003

country - registrant code - year of refrence - destination code.

For me this is only relavant with MP3 sales, for vinyl we just use that catalogue no. eg MPTF003
