Keane has been awesome for Man Utd but the time has come for every player to finish or move on, retire at the top! He can go and take it easy for another couple of years playing Mickey mouse football at Celtic now!!

I think Alan Smith can mould into that position, obviously never gonna replace Keane but can be that type of player. Smith has played quite well in that position so far so can only improve.

Got a feeling though they will sign Ballack, they have wanted him for a while now.

I agree about alan smith. He could play that role, but needs time to adjust and learn. He has the fighting qualities, such as strength, strong in tackle and quite a good passer and header of the ball
