Does anbody else think that most german Djs arn't that good at mixing? I know they make puka music but there mixing just seems to be either a whole set of their own tunes, mixing them at the end of the record and not bothering to use the mixing controls at all apart from the cross fader.

Hakka.

from the ones I have heard Scot Project and Marc La Cruz I thought were poor. Fantastic music and ability to produce but the beats were constantly giving that feeling/sound that they were on there way out and needed adjusting. Now if I can pick up that off 20k system then they must be quite out as most club speakers seem to mask slighty off beats.

Just my opinion.

know what yer mean. i was suprised that gollum wasn't great at mixin, but they're legends in their own right i.e. from their sets or tracks they've produced in the past, that it's alright for me if there isn't a perfect beat match everytime.

i'd rather listen to an original, stompin set with some dodgy mixes than 4 hours of 'perfect' mixing by some sad, souless excuse for a dj... like pete tHong.

plus all djs can have bad nights (especially if they've been partaking in questionable activities before they go on!!!)

this really annoys me.... we really need to represent the music in the best way possible and only and handful of the german guys are even close.
