caught this little urchin trying to sell what was supposedly one of my dj mixes on e-bay username: themothershipconnection01

I don't mind people swapping my mixes, but to sell them, that's a bit below the belt....

Report them to e-Bay... it's about all you can do.

Alternatively, sign up for a fake e-Bay account and make silly bids.

Buy one and ask for address to send cheque/cash as you dont have paypal acct.

If they're at all industrious about it they'll have a P.O. Box, or direct all mail through their Mum's house or something.

Not that I have experience or anything...

It should be noted at this point that Mark has actually resolved this issue. Turned out it was a mix-up and the seller was genuinely selling a shop bought mix cd by another DJ, not Mark, but contained tracks by Mark in the mix. And the cover picture of the DJ looked a little bit like Mark (if you hadn't met him before) so the guy got confused and thought it was one of Mark's mixes.

Dude let's be real.
Ebay the place you can sell anything on.
If it's your music personally tell the schmuck to stop selling your stuff.
If someones dumb enough to buy a burned copy of an easily obtained mix of the net then they deserved it. Think about it you gotta be on the net to use ebay, right?

Yeah, but you could use eBay in a public library, but you probably couldn't download hour-long mixes. Unless they let you save files to the disk and burn CDs at libraries now?

I bought a pirate mix recently and it was BANGING

Had all the classics, 'drunken sailor', 'walk the plank', 'land lubbers lament' and the rest.
