Why is it that sometimes i can go to a website and it works perfect and then the next day it says i need to adjust my browser settings and cant get anything at all?

have you done any of the following:
* changed your screen resolution
* installed a firewall or virus scanner
* changed the way you connect to the internet (do you now connect via a router? have you recently put in ADSL (or changed to any other different internet connection type)?)
