ok folks has ne1 else had any experiance with updating their hardware operating systems? i am getting fcuk off with the error messages i keep getting when trying to play the midi files back to my hardware using cubase sx.

I have done everthing that both synth manufacturers suggest like ensuring that the file is set to the correct midi channel and port setting, ensuring that midi clock and time code is set to the off value but no bloody joy, keep getting the message block missed please try again.

anyone who has any suggestions please get back to me b4 i chew my fingers off.

No sweat m8.. it's an SX prob apparently (I think now solved)... find a Logic audio or any other midi seq. U might find... Master Tempo/ BPM .... 80 .... same channel as Global Channel on yer SN .... that's it!!

I pis** me off aswell but it's donne and working no prob!

i find it better if i force media player to output to the destination midi channel and then load the midi file into windows media player - i done a SN2 , virusB and ob12 os upgrade like that with no probs at all

hope this helps
