What I appreciate about these releases is the clarity.
It's not a distorted mess hard.
It's fast well put together hard as nails material.
I'd kill for an Ancronix, Ruffneck or Ophidian Dj Set or Live Pa of this style.

what other labels churn out this sort of techno i love it
been playin gabba/speedcore for ten yrs but over the last
couple been gettin into the slower, well 150-165bpm
stuff, lovin this label,so apart from enzymeX which is
more brutal than this, what other labels should one look out for?
not really into the classic 'schranz' sound if yall know what i'm
sayin,needs to be industrial

anyone heard of a label called crowbar,is it like this?

orac

I think Crowbar is more german influenced, than Protocast stuff, but I think that you will find something for you from Crowbar discography :- ) Just check samples on online shops.

crowbar is a pretty good consistant label, although i think the more recent ones are slipping in content. the older ones are much better if u can get em

to be honest, i dont see such a big difference between this protocast label and lots of other schranz labels....

alsynthe

its just the bad image schranz has got from all these shit bootlegs that are going around, most of the eastern european/ german labels are damn good. people just get put off it by the cheesy crap. i play alot of crowbar, carnage, protocast, abstract, beast etc

koma

well, IMO there's as much bootlegs in schranz as in funky techno or trance or house... or d'n'b..
I get to hear lots of stuff from various genres, so when I say schranz I dont think on this bootlegs, they are everywhere.. mostly as fun tracks...
but yeah, production wise, most of them are done badly...

Lujo

Most of schranz stuff is badly done, not just bootlegs.
I don't take bootlegs for serious to me it is just funny music wich can make people go crazy on the dance floor in the right moment.

I would agree with that to a certain extent, imo the first three tracks are kinda pretty standard schranz tracks for me personally, i still like them in saying that tho.

Im liking the cleaner, less distorted hard stuff at the min like the switchblade one on this release.

check out crowbar, and especially check Artillery, i think they feature the style you are looking for, hard industrial techno

this link is about artillery's newest cat. no.
