Technoheads are pale, generally geeky looking people, very much like true computer nerds. They dress casual, and dance rarely. Their actual tenure in the scene may only be about 1.5-2 years, though they will continue to linger around the scene from a peripheral standpoint for many more years afterward.

Technoheads are intelligent and industrious, yet unobtrusive. Overall they prefer small gatherings and intimate house parties to actual raves. They enjoy good music, polite company, and intelligent conversation about the brilliance, purity and superiority of techno. In fact, they can be a trifle stuck-up at times. Technoheads are not obstinate, but they are very passionate about techno and can get argumentative if the conversation steers in that direction. Technoheads are sometimes also activists. Unlike the other cliques, technoheads actually view drugs as something separate to the appreciation of music. Though they are not overly elitist, they can come off as being somewhat pretentious and condescending at times.

Barstars are normally ignored by technoheads. Candy ravers cheerfully tolerate them. Hippies like technoheads best, considering them somewhat on the same wavelength in believing music can achieve inner enlightenment. Although technoheads are not adept to mingling or making friends, they get along with other cliques the best.

A technohead can choose to be a coordinator, specialist DJ, trainspotter, name-dropper, or a multi-profession trainspotter/name-dropper.

Through their extensive knowledge on the scene and its music, technoheads are allowed to appreciate the following genres: techno, detroit techno, minimal techno, bangin' techno, acid house, dub, and anything tribal. The actual number of genres is limited by the Tolerance of the player character (see the Tolerance table).

In addition, all technoheads have a high resistence to muzik at parties, so for every 3 1/2 points of Tolerance score, the character gains a + 1 bonus on saving throws against muzik.

Technoheads have a natural talent with arguing. All technoheads gain a + 1 bonus to their proficiency rolls when they engage in discussion.

Technoheads have a penalty of - 1 to their initially generated Enthusiasm scores, since their vast knowledge of the scene somewhat removes any spirited expectations from it--nothing in this scene surprises them. But this knowledge also proves useful at times, which is why they receive a + 1 bonus to their Talent.

none of these descriptions match me or my techno head friends. we are rowdy, can drink just as much if not more than the junglists, fairly a.d.d, with a very random sense of humor.

WE ARE VERY FAR OFF FROM ****IN HIPPIES THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

sounds about right, apart from trhe bit about not dancing, i dance as much as i can at parties, if im not behind the decks mixing im infront of some speakers avin it. its the place to be, annoys me when you get people lurking behind the decks coz its 'the cool place to stand' espcialy when they aint even mixing.

anbd the bit about perfering smaller parties, i'd go for 3 day teknivals with about 10 rigs linked up playing techno and then about 10 smaller rigs playing other music. ORGH!

My base AD&D character specs:

STRENGTH: 11
DEXTERITY: 15
CONSTITUTION: 17
CHARISMA: 13
INTELIGENCE: 15
WISDOM: 10

My character specs on your typical night out in the Valley:

Character modifiers:

White powder of Frost Giant Strength: Hasted, STRENGTH+3, DEXTERITY +2, INTELIGENCE -4, WISDOM -2, CONSTITUTION -4, CHARISMA -2
Rune stones of Dancing: STRENGTH-1, DEXTERITY +2, INTELIGENCE -2, WISDOM -2, CONSTITUTION -1, CHARISMA +3
Gandalfs pipe weed: STRENGTH-3, DEXTERITY -4, INTELIGENCE -3, WISDOM -3, CONSTITUTION -1, CHARISMA +2
Amber potion of Barfing: DEXTERITY -5, INTELIGENCE -5, WISDOM -2, CONSTITUTION -3, CHARISMA +2

This works out to:

STRENGTH: 7
DEXTERITY: 7
CONSTITUTION: 9
CHARISMA: 18
INTELIGENCE: 1
WISDOM: 1

According to these stats I'm your average loved up yet uttelry annoying dickhead. I suppose I can't argue with the math.
