Quite a bouncy-trancy set from DJ Dean of the Tunnel Trance Force. Recorded live at the Tunnel in Germany 1999.

To be fair, M-Zones mixing can be pretty pap sometimes. I can never complain about his tune selection though!!! ;)

Specially mine!
Didnt mean to sound critical, this is the first live set i have heard of his, its just u dont hear many studio mixes like the Tunnel Trance Force series which are poorly mixed. Its understandable in a club, but to have a commercial release where nearly every mix is out is strange. But saying that the tunes more than make up for it. The amount of id's i have got from those cds is unbelieveable!
And re: M-Zone's mixing :dontevengothere: his is second to none! :notworthy: No feckin aboot, just straight from one shit hot tune to the next!
Anyhoo, M-Zone's mixing has been discussed a zillion plus one times before
Peace out!

Sorry mate, i've only recently started to post on this forum so I have never had the chance to discuss M-Zones mixing before.
Dont get me wrong :dontevengothere: , M-Zone is my favourite DJ of all time. The tunes he has played over the years are totally amazing. There is no other DJ out there like him. I have hundreds of M-Zone tapes and his actual mixing of tunes is sometimes pretty bad, and certainly not "second to none!". I like his quick, "no ****in about" mixing style, but sometimes his beat-matching sounds like he's playing on belt-drives ;)
Anyway, he's still the best and always will be!!!

 The second to none bit was slightly tongue in cheek ;) but yeah the tunes he played were amazing, specially back then when he was really only one of the handful of dj's championing that sound over here.
also, am liking the bit about "Hundreds of M-Zone tapes" heh heh
heres hoping file factory is gonna get even more of a hammering! ;)
Theres been a few posts about M-Zones mixing before, basically saying the same thing in different ways  u should have a wee peek back when u get the chance mate. ;)

I've put a couple up recently, hoped you liked em? I'm not gonna put any more up till some other people start contributing ;) It looks like owen, carta and Yourself are the only people that bother uploading :gutted:

Whats the tune on 20:40 - cracking sounds like a Don Diablo gabba tune.
dizauda

ha quality - next tune is a proper gabba tune
not sure what it is though - possibly - shadowland terrorists - more bazz
could be a Neophyte tune or promo - what is the tune he mixes into it.

Hes only playing 60 to 90 secs on studio. In a club he plays more of the record thus having more time to cue.
Thats the reason for this
