Sat. December 31st-Gotham City Radio With Becka & Deosil
Once again, DJ Becka and techno label Gotham Grooves of NYC are back to bring you ‘Gotham City Radio’ on Livesets.com.
Airing every Saturday, from 12:00pm – 3:00pm EST(eastern standard time) 18:00 – 21:00 CET(central europan time). Alongside Becka's weekly tune selections, we will be featuring international and local guest dj's and performances for your enjoyment. This week, Becka’s resident DJ Deosil will be joining her on the show to kick off the New Year with some funky beats.
Some of the places where Becka has played throughout her 13 year career as an artist are: Fuse (Brussels, Belgium), Metropolis (Paris, France), Montuno Vibes (Ghent, Belgium), DEMF (Gotham Grooves, ISOS, Nefarious) (Detroit), Female Pressure (Memphis, Tennassee), Tronic Treatment (NYC), Limelight (NYC), the I Love Techno One Year Anniversary Party (Caracas, Venezuela), and more recently a mini-tour in Europe, with dates in Switzerland and Spain, along with many others.
Along with her radio show on livesets, she has also begun working in the studio, co-producing tracks Agent Orange, as well as working on solo projects. Her first release, is featured on Gotham Grooves 009-Orange Slices EP. Produced alongside Agent Orange, ‘Lemongrass’ is already receiving support from some major players in the industry. Her next release will be a remix of the Locutus track ‘Dark Move’ and is set to hit stores in the near future.
In addition to being an outright vinyl junkie, Becka can play a range of styles letting loose a turbulent assault on the senses. Be prepared for some of the hardest pounding techno your ears can handle! This lady DJ has been gaining loads of respect & notoriety in the US as well as internationally. Keep an eye on her and be a witness to this rising talent, traveling at the speed of sound!
Joining Becka this week from his studio, in a rare back to back appearance, will be our resident guest DJ Deosil.
Now residing in NYC after years of playing clubs and parties in Canada, Deosil’s energetic beat-blending skills have also rocked dance floors in countries like Sweden, Poland and of course the USA. Playing alongside artists like Deetron, Tobias Von Hofstein at such prestigious events like Tronic Treatment, Homegrown, and Gamer’s Night Groove, he has also done numerous Radio show appearances both FM and online and looks forward to many more years of laying down eclectic blends of danceable rhythms for techno fans everywhere. The
words he lives by? Technology should remain but an extension of our
souls, lest we become just an extension of our own technology.
