Jose Mourinho has taunted Liverpool by claiming that all they can do is defend.
The outspoken Chelski boss, who recently described Arsene Wenger as a "voyeur" after he dared to answer questions about the champions, says that the European Champions have 'nothing to offer' other than the ability to keep a clean sheet - as they did in ten consecutive Premiership matches before the new year.
"They defend very well," Mourinho told Sky Sports. "But they offer nothing else other than that.
"It is very difficult to score goals when you take on a team playing with that style. If you are playing that sort of team you have to do it with your head. You have to take your heart out and place it to one side.
"If you play with your heart it is practically impossible to get past their defence.
"And by playing that way, they create a good number of chances and get at you on the counter-attack."
Jose's depiction of a mechanical side which puts the emphasis on clean sheets and likes to hit their opponents on the break also sounds eerily familiar to the standard description of a certain other club in the Premiership...
Rafa Benitez may also care to note that Chelski have, in fact, conceded fewer goals in the Premiership than his side despite having played two more games.
