Dance Academy boat party 24 aug

Does anyone know of any details for this ? Ive heard that the lineup is Mark eg & M-zone but what I don't know is weather it is a ticket event & where & what time its on to ect ect. Has anyone been before ??

It says on the Dance Academy's website that its a boat party, so i take it that its at sea then ? ( Not that ive seen many boats on the road lately :D )

If anyone knows anymore about this then please let me know.

You can buy tickets, but only actually in the club itself (so you'd have to turn up tonight or next sat to buy them). Otherwise you just turn up at Plymouth Hoe, at Pheonix Wharf and pay then. There is a huge DA free party on the day previous though (loads of advertisement), and Gatecrasher are holding a big event on the same night, so lots of people will probably turn up, so get there early.

I might go, as i'm off to the Gatecrasher event later...

- then in between that and DA two friends of mine are DJing at hogshead so I will be there
- then dance academy again that evening for chris davies and doctor j and blowey.... noiiice
- then work sunday but after work its straight to gatecrasher.

It will be a funny sight to see but quality music, i can imagine loads of 12 year olds being blown away by the sounds of tom costelleoe.

I, as always, will only be on the beer....but as I will be drinking for near enough till 2 in the morning (when DA stop serving drink) who knows if I will still be awake or alive?

Heard that gatecrasher has been pulled so I might have to go to DA ...

I think the Hoe party is going to be a bit of a let down - it's going to be full of kids, or teenagers drinking cider. No-one will dance, and tourists are just going to be plain baffled. I could have understood it a bit more if they had gone for a ticket, age-controlled event or got some name dj's to participate to attract travelling customers. I'll still have a look in though.

Yeah, it's definitly off, due to poor ticket sales. I know becuase my cousin had won our tickets on Plymouth Sound, and they phoned him up to let him know today.

I'll probably be at DA Hoe party, maybe DA Saturday and almost definitley the Boat Party/After Party. What boat to choose though - Mark's or M Zones?

It was a good weekend, mark didnt turn up in time for the boat party, plaine delayed from holland aparantly ( too much dutch cabbage I say ! :D ) so m-zone did a set on each boat. Cracking night though, the D.A rocked afterwards & it was well busy. I'll be making more trips down to Plymouth me thinks, Uberdruck & Vortex at the end of sept looks good.
