Ciao! Ciao! und Guten Tag,
Tomorrow night is the long-awaited Electric Shock #2 - the return! Two
heavyweights of the electro scene in Ellen Allien and Alexander Robotnick
come to rock the Temple Bar Music Centre. It's all killer, no filler when EC
do a double-header.
Tickets are going fast for this one as a ticket also gets you half-price
entry to Kompakt's Justus Kohncke in EC next Thursday. It's an absolute
Harvey Norman of a deal. Tickets are available from Selectah Records and
online at www.tickets.ie. There will also be tickets set aside for on the
door on Saturday night.
Grandmaster Robotnick will be hard rocking the mic, the keyboards and the
laptop while BPitch Control head-honchess Ellen Allien will be weaving her
wicked way wound the wurntables. Both of these have provided some of the
most memorable EC nights of the past three years and with the two of them
together it's sure to be moydah on the dancefloor.
Electrico Citio regular Barrio Donovano will be showcasing his latest
dreadlocked styles for the opening hour and this man has more than matched
up to the bill when playing alongside Dave Clarke, Blake Baxter and many
others at Electric City so despite his Scouse affiliations we recommend
getting in early to hear him.
