Bionika/System 23/vs./c90 DJ’s

It was probably only a matter of time. Two organisations united in their wilful refusal to accept Sheffield’s bland musical norms join forces to bring you an evening’s entertainment: Dust vs. c90.
For their part two artists will ably represent Dust Science Recordings. DJ Bionika will be spinning a set of hard, dark electro styles. Alongside, System 23 comes correct with a relentless live techno set. With a growing roster and enviable links with some of the cream of Detroit’s techno producers, Dust constitutes a creative and vital force in quality techno for the Steel City and way beyond.
At times dangerously whimsical promoters, c90 have gambled on staging parties that have seen them bring some of their favourite national and international artists to a city ‘‘the scene’’ temporarily forgot. Their commitment and energy has not gone unrewarded as renewed enthusiam and interest demonstrates. Consistently inventive, entertaining and uncompromising, their DJs will be on hand with a selection to keep you thinking and dancing.
Saturday 25th February 10pm til Late (last entry strictly 11pm) at Matilda Social Centre, Matilda Street, Sheffield, S1. Entry by £5 donation.
