I nearly pissed myself when they got rid of the second post.

The interview on TV was hillarity itself:

Royal Mail: "Yes, we now have a higher level of accuracy than ever before. 99.998% of our packages are delivered correctly!"

Interviewer: "But haven't you reduced the daily number of deliveries?"

RM: "Yes, we no longer have a second post. Anything not delivered first time round is now left until the next day."

Int.: "So, you've effectively halved your workload whilst simultaneously congratulating yourself on an imporvement in performance?"

RM: "Erm...."

Actually, no, I didn't hear that.

What was that for?

for failure to stop post from being lost or stolen

How about "failure to actually treat the post with any measure of respect in the first ****ing place".

My understanding is the main problem is contractors. In order to be "more efficient" Royal Mail has had to lay off staff, and replace them with temps. Who couldn't give a monkeys, basically.

my records make the room in which my music equipment is look like a sh*thole, really do take up space and look like clutter, thats the best way to keep it when ya want to keep em all accesible for playing :toast:
