Once again, DJ Becka and techno label Gotham Grooves of NYC are back to bring you ‘Gotham City Radio’ on Livesets.com.
Airing every Saturday, from 12:00pm – 3:00pm EST(eastern standard time) 18:00 – 21:00 CET(central europan time). Alongside Becka's weekly tune selections, we will be featuring international and local guest dj's and performances for your enjoyment. This week we welcome our guest from the Eastern European country of Croatia – Carl Max. Carl has given us an exclusive set to be heard first on Gotham City Radio and is serving us a set of hard pounding beats just in time for Saturday night.
Carl Max joined the electronic music world when he got his first mixer at the age of 15. At that time, he was heavily influenced by the house and trance scene. Shortly after, he started to play in local radio stations, which allowed him to play at the renowned club Fun Academy in Rijeka. He quickly became resident of Fun Academy.
Karlo started getting into producing and djing when the scene in Rijeka began to suffer; hoping to create new interest in the scene. After some experimentation, his first record was published together with Ogi on TechEX Rec. Karlo gets into production very seriously and with his hardworking mentality gets many results.
Today he is working and has releases on very well known labels like Compound, Planet Rhythm, Bound, Holzplatten, Audio Assult, and Hydraulix, along with many others. Karlos gets big support from artists like Glenn Wilson, Lars Klein, Michael Burkat, The Anxious, Dave the Drummer, and his friends all over the world…..
