depends on how accurate your midi interface is... you can introduce track delay with live 5, this is designed to cope with out of order deivces.

Dont know about the other one, i dont use ableton to sequence other than sequencing live, sketching out ideas etc...

i have a delay to sync audio with my drum machine, but when i record down the delay is showing as a gap at the start of each recording. hmmmmmm.

any recording or sampling I do is handled by logic express, then I just bounce the audio down as loops and let Ableton's warp function do the work, or I'll just render it as a one-shot.

set an audio channel's inputs to battery's channel. then in the dropdown beneath it and select the respected outputs that you wish to use in Battery 2. Make sure the audio track is armed to record, or else you wont hear shite.

Make sure the audio track is armed to record, or else you wont hear shite.

Or just set the track's Monitor section to IN
That way you don't have to arm it.

Also, if you are recording, keep it on Auto, that way you hear what is being recorded as it's being recorded, but if you press play on a clip on that track, it will play the clip's audio instead of monitoring the input.

back for the weekly dosage if ableton questions, i dont know if this one will be as obvious!!!

when ive mapped the Keys to trigger loops, only some of them will work... something like the 1st channel, 4th and 6th. weird!!
anyone experience anything similar or know how to fix this??

thanks
