Thursday March 2nd at Traffic

Steve Rachmad AKA Sterac [Music Man - Amsterdam]
Alan Carbery [ECFM - Donegal]

Admission - e10 / e8 members

This Thursday March 2 we are delighted & excited to welcome back the
living legend that is Steve Rachmad for the Irish leg of his '25 Years
of Music' tour - no mean feat! This will be Steve's fourth time to play
Electric City thus making him our most-capped overseas guest. Steve
Rachmad is for sure one of the true people of techno and he has made
some of the all-time great techno records through the years. His
finely-honed skills on the decks have made him one of our most popular
guests and it's a pleasure to have him back to celebrate this mighty
occasion.

On his previous visits techno's Mr. Nice has treated us to a classic
80's set that included gems from Joe Jackson and The Human League, a
tough no holds barred techno set and on his last appearance at EC back
in December 2004 he thrilled us with his definition of Detroit music.
This date will be part of Steve's 25 years in music tour, so expect him
to play all of the above and more! Steve will tour the world in 2006,
celebrating his 25-year involvement in music. This will be accompanied
by some major releases and remixes to be out in 2006 including his new
long-awaited artist album on Music Man Records Belgium, and a Sterac
Electronics remix of Booka Shade's Body Language on Get Physical
Records.

We have had a late change to our advertised line up for Thursday. Instead of
nordy school teacher Cathal Tierney opening up class we have eh...nordy
school teacher Alan Carbery. Fresh from doing some construction work on
O'Connell St. last Saturday, this north west nord is sure to be revved up
and raring to go again before one of his all time hero's Stephen O'Rachmad.

Hey man, what about Surgeon and Sims on the 16th? That night runs into the 17th which is Paddy's Day, it could be a great occasion to get yourself over for ;)
