Can anyone reccomend some good freeware soft synths?

here you go mate, and anyone else on this forum who may find these useful, lots of free vst effects (some of em pretty nifty) and a good few vst synths etc (again some of em good quality) and there free 8)

triangle is top notch, its pretty versatile, user friendly, and you can get some great sounds out of it.

it was released on a computer music cd, a while back, although i think it may be still available within the software libary on the cd.

i was chuffed when i found it lol :)

loads of cool free toys for your arsenal, id advise if anyone finds stuff they like to get em on cd as soon as poss cos a couple of the older links were taken off and i cant find the stuf now :cry:

check out "crystal", a good free softsynth rated in the top-ten in Sound on Sound...

cant think of the link, but google search for "crystal softsynth" should reveal all"..

freebies that are good has to be synth 1, grat synths, nord emulation. sounds mnost like hardware yet from a softsynth iv herd, not pretty and not easy but when u get ur head riound it u can make sum mad leads
