View Full Version : Am I turning into commercial sellout or what!?!

While busy buyin tunes yesterday I decided to have a quick listen to some Tidy Traxx tunes to see how shite they are (purely for research) an the first tune I listened to (something by Guyver) actually blew me away, its exactly the type of stuff I go for!
So was faced with a big dilema, should I buy it because it would fit in to my sets lovely like. Or should I discard it just because of the label its on and deny myself this excellent piece of dance floor brilliance?!

Well after about half an hour of mental turmoil and about 30 listens (just to check it was that good) I decided to put it in my basket along with the finest german melodic modernday masterpieces (including some classic EDM's I hope they dont touch eachother in the post :D )

What are your opinions on this, should I be outcast from this board forever and join the Gatecrasher forum or is a quick slap across the face an get on with it in order?

P.s. I went to Creamfields last week aswell!!!!!!!!!! :? (it was either that or stay in) and I noticed that Yoji, Lab 4 & juice & cally where on. 8)
The music on the whole was pretty poor an the crowd where lightweights to death!

wouldnt touch their recent stuff with a barge pole though, awfully cheesy, and full of bandwagon producers.

If it was the Guyver track called "You'll know it" then I would say so what if its on Tidy Tracks...Thats a quality tune! :D The rest is cheese.

These are all quality releases, I don't give a fu ck if good tunes are on commercially orientated/shit labels, if the tune is good....BUY IT!!

I bet when it arrives here an i stick it on its crap :wink:

I will be abit cautious about playin it out coz i like to keep my sets as individual is i can an I know that about six billion other djs will have this tune. But it rocks!!
