i find it pretty easy to get hold of a lot of techno and the uk trance localy but for the harder brand new stuff the internet is my saviour, basically no good hardtrance/hardstyle records availible near me :(

nice to get record deliveries anyway :)

yeah locally i cant get too much tbh... gotta go through to glasgow too 23rd or order them off the internet.

Trance rite now is unreal, seem to be gettin that little bit faster (which i likr) and a little tougher.

Agreed, heard quite a bit of the new stuff at Paul's at the weekend and i was well impressed.

Sounds like it's heading back to the old 'Binary Finary' kinda stuff that i used to love.

:D

binary finary? :?

nah mate i dont reckon....it sounds like proper good 2003 trance to me, way more intelligent than older binary finary stuff....moving on!

when i was speaking too him he means... that the tunes riffs are better.... its that little faster (as it is a little slow just now) and the kick is tougher...

i was lettin him hear morph, informers, phil green and the new one on liquid with the yellow sleeve... and that was what he thought.

Not that its the same as binary finary... just similer in those ways.

yah, i think the complexity of the music is workin its way back, stuff was gettin more mechanical and minimal (which is fine) but its good too have the more complex layerd melodies etc

Sly One

Agreed... stuff like Purple Haze, Euphonic - The One, that sort of thing are really breathing life back into things. It's still dominated by godawful, predictable, I've-got-bigger-kicks-and-a-more-detuned-horn-lead-than-you hardstyle trance though, and vocals. Vocals...

Amazed there are places in the UK stocking the good stuff... around here you can't get anything remotely progressive...
