righto..

im getting bored with halion now.. i thought it was great but im finding it kinda bland. Im afraid its just not giving me a hardon anymore guys  .

Anyways, I was thinking of moving back to Hardware. Probably in the form of Akai s6000/5000. Have you seen the price these beats are going for these days? 4-500 scruts!! i kid ye not! - last i remember they were two grand!

Have any of you lot used one of these alongside a soft sampler? I need some direct comparisons, and im talking more in terms of the 'feel' of the sound rather than the specs on paper.

The other thing i was wondering was if any of you chappies have tried that new motu mach five soft sampler.. be cool to know the score on that little puppy aswell :)

i know what you mean with the cold thing - my friend had a 6000.. it had a very crisp edge.

but i quite like that actually as i find it easy to make somthing 'cold' sound 'warm', but the other way round and i cant get it down

the ak.sys thing was what interested me really - presumably with this i can just drag samples into the unit off my hard drive...
