lookin for a multi channel soundcard so i can dj live on my laptop is this usb soundcard compatible http://www.nusystems.co.uk/product/Edirol.UA1D

doesn't look like it's got multiple outs to me, you need a pair of stereo outs for dj'ing, so you can cue up on one, and have the other as your master.

i use a terratec dmx 6fire, but i'll probably change that some time soon for an external one.

i'd probably go with m audio, emu or one of the more expensive edirol ones.

all you need for ableton mixing, if thats what you're doing, is 2 independant stereo outs.

whats your budget ?

i recommend a terratec phase 26 usb i got one its belting! and only 140 quid has 3 sets pf phono outs

yeah, or some of the lower priced m audio ones, like the fastrack pro

obviously, if its for your laptop, just make sure it's usb or firewire (if your laptop has firewire)
