Just had to take my macbook pro to Jennings of york.. an apple service centre. The logic board had completely melted down. They relaced the part for free under warranty... didnt charge me a penny and the process took 24hrs.

Now the MBP is working super rapid, super cool and im really impressed with the service.

I knew there was a reason i went with apple. Vindicated. Safe.

glad u had a good experience with apple customer service. i was having some problems with logic, phoned up customer service, absolute twat on the end of the phone no help at all then they wanted to charge me £40 for the phone call.

Can you get apple care after you've bought the mac? as i've been thinking about getting it for my powerbook as i'm worried about it breaking and not having the cash to fix it
