SWERVE is a new bi-monthly party staged by London based labels DON'T RECORDINGS, VICTIM RECORDINGS and NASTY COLOUR
With regular decent techno parties few and far between, the aim is to provide great music, a great friendly atmosphere in a safe secure environment, with a super cheap bar >>>This party will be fancy dress with NO theme to ensure everyone can make the effort. Prizes for the best costumes.
>>>Right... music... we got the fabulous Luke's Anger, coming specially from Bristol to back up his recent awesome releases on don't, victim, bow wow and soon on crystal distortion's Labrat audio. this party will also coincide with the release of DON'T010, LUKE'S ANGER - FISTFUL OF DONKEYS EP. Luke will be playing live and as his recent sets at uglyfunk and earwax have shown.. this is not to be missed!
>>>Next up, we are proud to welcome long time friend , co-conspiritor and now proud father Gianni aka. Freakbeat. Gianni has been involved in the London underground scene for longer than most, taking his soundsystem out in the old days to warehouse parties to provide a wicked selection of music.. Gianni has been locked away in his studio and now has a spanking brand new liveset. Pay attention... we've heard it and its badass!!
>>> The final liveset is to be provided by another old mukka, musical whizz-kid 3dIT (edit) who's already released mucho vinyl on labels including Shed, Bernard's Haircut, Victim, Don't, Miditonal, Uglyfunk and Coin operated. Edit is an integral part of the london pastiche and his live sets make you have it while shitting your leg off..
>>> Jesus, it seems that this lineup is all old mates, infact thats exactly what it is..Rob Stow has to be one of the most talented DJ's that London has to offer in the techno world.. known for his fierce style of cutting and mixing,a Rob Stow set is always a treat.. With a lengthy string of releases under his belt including the Groove Asylum (Jerome Hill and Rob Stow) collaborations on DONT001 and 002 and lots of new stuff up and coming, it's always a pleasure never a chore...
