Serie A sides Juventus, Lazio and Fiorentina have been demoted to the second division for their involvement in Italy's match-fixing scandal.
Juventus were also stripped of their last two Serie A titles and had 30 points deducted, meaning they are likely to stay down for two seasons.

AC Milan will stay in Serie A but will start the season docked 15 points.

All are barred from competing in Europe - Juventus, Milan and Fiorentina the Champions League; Lazio the Uefa Cup.

Lazio were penalised seven league points while Fiorentina suffered a 12-point penalty.

The clubs have three days to appeal to the Federal Court.

But they may find they will run out of time to rescue their European places regardless of the outcome of any appeal because the deadline for entry is only 11 days away.

This will no doubt spark the biggest transfer moves we have seen in a few years. if not ever.

must be some serious agenda behind all this ....

freemasonry , jewish back scratching would have covered this up using the legal system.... there is another issue behind all of this.... we will prob learn about it in many years to come

I'm sure Juventus won't end up in Serie C, they might even be able to bounce straight back up, even if they can't win Serie B with the 30 point deduction, there's 4 promotion spots in Italy isn't there?

the first players to leave italy are canavaro and emerson, who have joined real madrid, i expect more departures :)

At least our prem rivals won't sign them... Real Madrid should be a force again this season then.

That Emerson looks about 60 years old - can't believe he is only 30.

I bet the difference from top to bottom was well over 30 points last season and Juve will surely be stronger than anyone even with some big names leaving, Del Piero reckons him and Nedved are staying for starters. I'm sure there's more chance of them getting promoted than relegated, even if it's not as champions!

Champions had 81 points (Loseing 9)
Second place 78 (Loseing 8)

Bottom 3 teams had

39 (L17)
38 (L24)
28 (L28)

I doubt they will get relegated, but there gunna have to go the whole season without loseing in my opinion

Looks like Buffon's staying too, so they should be in reasonable shape...
