this is terrible.. i think we all have to address the problem of differnet cultures not understanding what other cultures don't like. this type of hardstyle would never be made in the uk. but there's np making this in italy. until we all learn how to produce what we need in the uk, we need to stop moaning about this.
we need to make our own movement in the uk that represents us. please ppl, visit the production forums and let's make a difference.
my 200000000000 cents ;)

I don't think you guys know what you're talking about on this song.
This track was remixed as a tribute to 3 steps ahead, who died recently on cancer. The remixer and 3 steps ahead were best buddies and all the profit made from this remix will go to the 3 steps ahead for life foundation, which fights against cancer.
So don't see this as a commercial act or so.

That is sad mate, tragic that it is a tribute too someone. I was giving my opinion on the track, not what surrounds why and how it was made mate, so no offence meant, i would still carry the same opinion regardless mate.

I though.. lemme post this here since I don't think you heared this before.
It's a special remix, meant as a tribute. Otherwise this remix would have never been made.
Anyway, most of the technoboy tracks from italy contain samples / vocals which are used in hardcore aswell.
Like I said in the 'will hardstyle be the new gabba' topic.. there is copying in every music style.

I agree with whatyou are sayin my friend .
Dont get me wrong I think its fine to sample other tunes i just mean that i hope it doesnt start a flood hardcore tunes getting the hardstyle treatment (the whole tune not just small samples)

this sort of stuff's been around for bloody ages. Last year's Cinderella - have you ever been mellow is a prime example
Lemme give you some examples of how far it has come already:
- Nightraver - So (I Love Hardstyle Mix)
- Marc Acardipane ft. Dick Rules - I Like it Loud (2003 Hardstyle Mix)
- Marc Acardipane ft. Dick Rules - Ain't no Party, like an AlcoholicParty
- Dj Coone - The Name of my Dj
I don't want to put Prophet's remix of Drop it, among the others, cause I think that is a good initiative, even though the track isn't that good. :!:
Even Beholder & Balistic (my favourites) 'stole' a melody from French Connection, in their Decibel 2002 Anthem...
Fortunately that stupid Scooter does not produce hardstyle, or else I would have to call his name too! And then I'm really pissed ;)
