Many thanks to everyone who came down those rusty Wax steps last week for Christian Smith, it was a killer night. You can check out some photos and videos from the night in the forum section of our website www.electricity-dublin.com. Mr. Smithsolbakken delivered one of the most pumpin sets ever heard at EC and we hope to have it up on our site someday soon. Now for this weeks murder on the dancefloor, we welcome back the entertaining Dancepig for another set of fun filled electro at EC. Currently residing in Berlin this electro swine will be proving that pigs really can fly by jetting in from his new uber sty for this set. Recently he has been putting on some quality nights in Slattery's featuring Rob 'n' Zoopsie and so nearly Massimo Sex Electro [Damn you customs!]. Their next night is on this Friday with italo megamixers Loud-E and Vunk from the controversial CBS site. First up is Barry Donovan, a member of our new Residents hit-squad. Barry is one of the freshest Djs in the capital with a slick mix of italo and Chicago traxxx to rock Wax. A regular guest at nights across town, Barry is a member of the Lunar Disko crew who have rocked venues across town with parties featuring Bangkok Impact, Sneak Thief, Intergalactic Gary, Orgue eletronique and more. The next Lunar Disko takes place this Saturday at the Underground in Kennedy's on Westland Row. The line up sees EC Resident DJ Simon Conway joined by ECFM's Alan Carbery for a cosmic battle to see who is ruler of the italo gems.
Following him will be Jay Alexander, a man who cut his teeth at the famous rent-skiving Minge parties. Jay is a long time fan of the left of centre heaving tracks from folks like Mathew Jonson, Audion, Richie Hawtin, Wighnomy Bros and the like. A wicked DJ who we're sure will be heard by more and more people in the future, it's a pleasure to have him make his EC debut.
