like "rotary"...yeah, rotary is a monster. ellen dropped it 5 o'clock at a festival i was this year. it was so wonderful seeing the sunrise and hearing this fantastic piece of emotional music.

yeah i listened to some stuff with ellen alien, but i prefer the stuff he done on his own, think im gonna have to get that album form 2003

just to revive this - check out his newer CD called Things To Be Frickled. There are a few tunes that are monsters, really dancey shit. Check his remixes of Boys Noize, Lusine, and that Moderat tune. They make my brain swell.

let's rename it right now - what do you call a genre that focuses on high production values, abstract rhythmic patterns, and actual musical theory?

all credit to the London techno dons for creating "It's Not Intelligent...", but surely IDM is not that offensive?

happy hardcore? dubstep? psychedelic trance? they all sound like wank to an outsider.
