Cool edit pro 2.0 help???

I know Cool Edit is now Adobe Audition, but I'm still using Cool Edit Pro 2.0 cause I don't have the money to upgrade yet.........................

Anyway, I'having trouble w/ the cd burning plugin in Cool Edit. When I go to burn a cd, it doesn't read that I have a device, it's blank.

Now, before, I have had no problems, this is the first time it's happened.

Does anyone know what could be wrong???? Some help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

damn' this is silly prob that happens 2 people ... I've had this on wavelab b4 and it was bit** . the usual instal/ unistal.. cooledit and windows do spring 2 mind... BUT i would just save the *.wav and go to any other burning software.. Nero is good!

Sorry if I can't help much more but I'm not really a PC buff!

no worries if you can't help, it's wierd cause it worked fine before, and just one day it messed up.

Yeah... windows must have lost the system info of the cdrw... or the software lost that file/ info!
