Aye I was a bit disapointed in Ambeint Works 2 when it first came out in 1994. There is some good tracks on it but it's not as good as the 1st Ambient Works it's a work of art.

its "remastered" but seemingly pressed on some cheapo vinyl (czech republic or somethin like that)
the label artwork has been replaced by ugly things

the tracks deserved something better IMO, at least a hi-quality vinyl

paul: do you know something about this remastered classics? is it already officially released? i saw it at your discogs "shop" but not at the normal ds2 shop. and no german shop seems to have it. how is the soundquality compared to the "normal" classics?

hardwax had them 2 weeks ago
the cut is better than the old one
the pressing is worse though

ah you mean the "classics"
hey this one was still selling as far as I know with the old cover and the old cut...not seen the new one
"Metapharstic" is a killer, exclusive

yep, i bought the "classics" with the old cover and old cut some months ago. unfortunately the sound quality isnt that what the tracks deserve. especially the d-side is really poor. so a remastered version (as listed on the distributors site) would be more than welcome.

for some real bad cuts check the "best of Beltram" or "Dave Angel works" albums on R+S, the term "stonewashed audio" applies...
