Taking a slight departure from the normal Switch format, Soulspun are pushing the boat out with the possibly the first ever night of entirely live dance music - no decks in sight! A line up of live acts from around Yorkshire and the UK - you're in for a treat on this one! A musical journey through breaks, techno, hard dance, psytrance, acid techno and drum & bass, we leave no stone unturned in the search for the phattest tunes around!
Starting off with Kewbik from the Breakz crew playing a mixture of Breaks and Hard Dance, followed by the increasingly popular Grinny Grandad for some funky Breaks. Next on the agenda will be Switch resident Seamless, aka Will Law, with a nice helping of glitchy Techno.
A long awaited set from Acoustic Terrorism - who rocked the floor at the first two Herbal Mafia gigs - is followed by another Psy/Hard Dance act PlasmaStorm. Expect some serious psychedelic electronica-guitar madness!
Suburban Acid Saturation will then be dishing out some Acid Techno using drum machines, live synths and hardware sequencers.
To finish off an epic night, we have Womagrid, with the hardest, most hectic live Drum and Bass ever to appear in York.
